Leema
Haven't read this entire thread, but Mac, when I'm teaching him new standing-tricks, he wants to sit (because he thinks sitting is the best trick in the world). So I will get a second lead and sling under his hind area - normally him just feeling it there is enough to deter him for lowering his rear end. Not sure how well it'd work for a bigger dog, but it might help you, anyway. Good luck.
Tunsafun Boxers
I tried that with Charlie a couple of days ago and she looked at me as if i was insane lol She was more concerned with that then watching me so i gave up on that idea. so far im still having to touch her flank in order for her to stay on her feet. Thanks for the tip anyway! Jenna
