ezm
Hi All, My two dogs have been on the MissingLink for many, many, many years now and since this product is not available in Australia for the time being I'm looking for an alternative. Two products I came across are "Power Blend" and "Miracle Mix" but I couldn't find much info about them. If anyone can point me in the right direction on where I can get some info(i.e.. ingredients, nutritional info/analysis, etc) on these product I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks And just FYI: My dogs were on the normal MissingLink Canine Formula and then recently switched to the Canine Plus formula (its got glucosamine) as one of them has arthritis and both are in their senior years. I only feed them a BARF diet and view the supplements as an "insurance". Thanks Mo.
Cavandra
An excellent range of products are "Dorwest Herbs " Made in UK, but there are distributors here. A lady at Bondi for example. You would probably like "Keepers Mix" www.dorwest.com Cheers
Trishm
I, too have fed my dogs Missing Link for years, and because of the unavailability I am trying Greenpet Supplement for Dogs and Cats, I have not been using it long enough to form an opinion, but I believe others on here use it. Guest kitakins
ive started to use the greenpet supplement. i personally never see a difference when it comes to those sorts of supplements with my dog but someone else might have. just be sure to get a big tub so you get your moneys worth. i got a small tub and it works out to 6 bucks a week whereas a big tub would have only been 3-4 bucks a week. Di*
I've heard from my vet and another source that it is OK to use the human version of Missing Link--which, last time I checked, was still available in Aust. Di
Sezy
I have used greenpet before and really liked it. Only reason why I stopped using it was I would forget to order it!!!

curlyking
MegaPet Warehouse had Missing Link on their shelves this morning. This was at Ringwood (Melb) Sorry I cannot remeber the size pkt but it was $49.
ezm
Bought a jar of the Greenpet supplement. Only been using it for a couple of days and the only difference i can see is that the dogs poo is back to how it was on the missinglink (must be the fiber - when i ran out of the missinglink, the dogs poo became dry and crumbly). Only concerm with the greenpet product is that it seems to have a lot of whole flaxseeds - might send them an email about that.
smoky
You can get the Power Blend mix from Glynn at the Canine Centre.... costs around $68 for a small bucket.. ingredients are on the bucket label. I switched to this when the Missing Link was no longer available, but in my opinion its nowhere as good. Fran Thanks for the replies I came across the Greenpet supplement too and wrote to them and found out some info. Checked out Dorwest too. Still looking for info on Miracel Mix and Power Blend. I recommend the Greenpet suppliment as well. There was a vast improvement in my dogs appearance, coat and general wellbeing. It wasnt just me who saw the difference but I received compliments from many friends and breeders about how good my boy looked. Greenpet All of there stuff has been fantastic. ezm
Can you not buy the Missing Link from OS and ship it over?? I can but since the problem with importing the M.Link is due to AQIS not allowing it into the country in the first place I don't want to pay for something that has a good chance of being destroyed once it goes thru customes. Trishm
There is just one ingredient in Missing LInk that AQIS will not let into Australia, apparently the same thing was happening in the UK, so they are endeavouring to have that ingredient ommitted and then it will be let into the UK, so heres hoping that the same thing happens here in Australia.
