Are you a member of the big Toller email list? If not I would strongly consider joining up there and writing a bit of a history on him eg age, weight loss, when it started, what you feed etc.

There is a wealth of information there from long-time Toller owners and breeders, and most are very proactive in regards to health issues. I'm positive they can tell you what you should be testing for in regards to breed.
