katiek Posted March 3, 2007 Share Posted March 3, 2007 GEORGIE 16/11/2003-02/03/2007 Sadly, my gorgeous and wonderfully loyal little girl, Georgie went to sleep at 6pm on Friday March 2 She was only 3 years old but she is now released from her pain and is happy and safe up in doggie heaven We already miss her so much. The last image i have of her in my head was walking out of the Vet's just before she was put to sleep. She smiled at me thru her eyes as if to say "thank you mum, im so relieved, you have made the right choice for me" and with that she gave me one last kiss goodbye. katiek Posted March 4, 2007 Author Share Posted March 4, 2007 Thank you She was beautiful, unfortunately she developed a genetic disease back in November. At first she began to limp but soon enough she lost all feeling in her legs and became unable to walk. She also lost control of her bladder and bowels. It was heartbreaking to watch her, she never once complained but I know she is free from her pain now and is in a much better place even though I am not with her.
