frufru
I buy all my blades from the USA and am considering purchasing another set of clippers this way. Anyone done this? Pros and cons. Obviously they won't be covered by a warranty but any other cons?
MolassesLass
They will need a power adaptor to plug into our wall sockets and change the voltage.
poodlefan
The biggest con is that most US clippers won't work on our 240 volt power. You can buy 240 volt clippers from the US but you need to be careful.

Dogsfevr
Why buy blades from the US when you can get them here just as cheap?? The only time i would buy clippers from the US is if the brand wasnt available here. Buy the time you buy with the dollar.postage, insurance etc it doesnt work out cheap

frufru
Showdog - I find I can source blades (including postage) much cheaper from the USA - maybe I'm looking at the wrong places in Oz?
Poodle wrangler
I've been looking at the grooming gear, too. http://www.freewebs.com/clipperbladesharpe...onfirmation.htm have good prices and excellent service, but cheaper overseas from what I can see, too, if you buy 2 or 3 and a brush for example.
