newtothis Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 (edited) Spike was a Min Poodle. He was black, loving, sweet, intelligent and an all around great dog. He lived with our family for 14 years - from a pup to the grave :D . He was there when my sister had her children, and when I had mine. He was there with love. Sadly, Spike started having mini strokes. He was not in pain but lost his sight, then hearing, then on the last day of his life, his movement was effected and we had to let him go. dandydog Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Sounds like Spike had a great home and has left you all wonderful memories to treasure, you can play with all the other doggies at :D now Spike just as though you are a puppy again without any of the problems of old age.
