bret
hi all again, well the room mate has moved out after long and dubious effort, which means there is only one dog left now, maiya. NO more playing tag/rough housing with the sister, or growling because she took my bone etc. she will be lonley out there, with nothing to do. I have got a puppy kong which now that there is only her, i can make a game out of burying it, as well as her bones, and she has to find it, she is allowed in the house more, which is good for me becuase i can train her inside and out without having to worry about the other dog, but i was wondering if i could get some tips on how i could make her transition a little easier to being along? a list of some thinking games (ie: i am going to buy a puzzler ball, which is a treat ball that she has to work out how to get the treats from) and some rope toys which she like, any ideas would be helpful, thanks Bret
Dogsfevr
You dont change any routine unless its needed. You need to see how the dog copes first & then address any issues with certain changes.Too often people try & make more of that is needed & the dog feels more insecure with the changes instead of just sticking to the normal routine
