happystarz
My 8 week old cavalier came home about a week ago and i don't think he's drinking water much at all! My water bowl is always readily assessible but all he drinks is milk and his puppy food. I'm just worried he'll get dehydrated especially on a hot day like today. What should i do? birgulparis
how about watering down the milk??? Or adding ice blocks to the water (maybe water is a little warm?) Good luck
Dogsfevr
If he has the option of both he will drink the milk ,take that away or water it down until he is weaned to the water. The puppy milk isnt really needed & if you do give it its simply as a treat

skwo2
Are you feeding the puppy with kibbles, do they float on water? How about you put some kibbles into the water before meal, and he will try to eat the kibbles and it will make him drink some water. I do this to my pup.
