ncarter
if you caught wild rabbit would you have to gut it before giving it to the dogs? Like could there be any parasites etc in the organs of the rabbit that could be ingested by the dog. cheers

Ittybitty_
My dogs wont touch them..... They wont touch anything that is 'intact'......... It'd have to be skinned, filleted, and diced into chewable pieces. :D
KitKat
I'd love to try my dogs on rabbit....but it's far from cheap around here - as far as i know! If i could find a cheap supplier i'd be interested...lol. My dogs have eaten the odd suicdal possum so i'm guessing they'd enjoy rabbit as well
oakway
Thank goodness that there's no wascally wabbits in Qld. or my lot would never be home. Only hares up here. Where do they live and hide, out in the front garden. Just don't have the heart to let the dog's lose out the front. There's a lot of barb wire fences out there, knowing my luck the hares would run away and the dog's would impale themselves.
