An honest mistake? Just in time for Christmas... Wow what a coincidence. Sorry but I just don't swallow bullshit.

Hope you've learned a lesson Shareen. Ensure that your pup is well socialised with other pups (not just your other dogs) because it's been taken away from it's litter mates so early that it is missing out on most of its lessons on how to interact with other pups. Make sure that she is vaccinated too.

She was given to much dewormer and it caused severe dehydration.She stayed there overnight and we got her midday Christmas Eve.The vet says she was very yound to leave her litter but she is in good health and would be fine considering I have 3 other dogs.Christmas Eve i called up the lady i bought her from and informed her that the pups were to young to leave the litter.She made an honest mistake,she was hoping to get the pups out for the holiday and was told by her vet they would be fine.Im not sure how much i trust her now,but i know my lil Kayden is in a good home and will be well taken care of.Thankyou all for your help and I wish you and you family the best holiday season,

So, how much of the vet bill is this "breeder" going to reimburse you?

After all, the "breeder" gave too much dewormer, which caused the problem...therefore the "breeder" needs to take responsibility for the ensuing vet bill IMO.

This whole experience typifies why people should NOT go to backyarders for their pups, and most especially not at this time of year, when the only priority seems to be to offload the pups as quickly as possible so the "breeder" can enjoy their holiday break.

Please Shareen, contact this "breeder" again, and ask for reimbursement of the vet bill. Produce evidence if necessary, that their actions caused the problem, and politely request that they do the right thing by you and your pup.

There is no way an ethical and responsible breeder would "accidentally" rehome a pup under eight weeks of age, it just doesn't happen. OTOH, there are many backyarders and puppy millers that do exactly that...I've heard of pups being removed from their mothers as young as four weeks of age. Disgraceful.

Gee that 'breeder' is full of it. Yeah why do you think she wanted them gone in time for Xmas ... CHA CHING. What a scumbag. She has no clue at all obviously and is now covering her arse. Go ask her for your vet bills back or tell her you will report her actions to teh RSPCA.

I would be reluctant to let the pup hang around the other 3 dogs. If it has only had one vaccination it is still susceptable to Parvo, distemper etc. I wouldnt take it out and about yet either, you have to treat it like a good breeder would and make sure its immune system is up to it.

Shareen, I am so pleased to hear that your baby is now OK, it was such a shame that you had a bit of a rough start with the precious little thing, but it can only go forward now for the both of you.

Just make sure that your pup has all vaccinations, as I am sure that it has not had any yet, did you get a Vaccination card with the pup?

If not start the vacs regime now, as at this time of the year Parvo can be rampant, and it is a terrible thing to see a puppy suffer with that as with any dog, C5 is a good coverage for everything.
