MolassesLass
Get a reality Check Folks especially Molasses!!!This is the very thing being talked about in another Thread "Horrible People on DOL".Samoyedman was asking a question, to get a bit of an Idea about feeding not a full on Lecture about what he should be doing with his Dog!!! I could see from where I am he was throwing a bit of Humour in his Post!!!Its a bit sad when somebody is accused of Lying and being indoubt about their Sexuality when all they did was ask a Question!!! Tonymc I didn't accuse anyone of being indoubt of their sexuality. The term was "lack of security in your sexuality" and it's quite often used to term those males who are uncomfortable in doing simple things because others may view them as gay. It DOES NOT draw SamoyedMan's sexuality into question what-so-ever. See how easily one person's words on the internet can be misinterpreted? I misinterpreted the humour apparently being conveyed by SamoyedMan and simply saw an issue of dog welfare that needed to be addressed. The lack of serious reply from SamoyedMan did not IMO appear to address my concerns (ie. "I do check them, I was just making light of the issue") or the welfare facts given to him (i.e. "Oh well I guess I better learn to get over it then"), hence I needed to push the issue again. As for straying from topic, the issue was important enough to be addressed now, not in 3 years time when SamoyedMan comes to post about his dog being on deaths door from a cancer that could have easily been felt. It's something I felt needed to be said and considered seriously based on what was posted, there was no malice intended (nor shown IMO). The topic was in hand with Shek. I hope I'm all the way through the horrible people thread if being concerned for animal welfare is what puts you there.

samoyedman
There was no emoticons so maybe I wasn't joking Besides I'm often accused of being an animal, which you profess to care about. I'm just taking the hint ok, ok, let sleeping dogs lie. Back to pretending to work.
noisymina
Don't worry, Sammy, you are safe - for now, anyway. Good dog, man, get down there and learn the nitty gritty. Get your groomer to show you. The sooner the better. The dog world is no place for whimps, man. Edited December 18, 2006 by noisymina

flycow
yeah, SM what if one day you really got a great gal who knows about dogs and need her to show you around your best friend's mans parts, that'll be embarrassing. ;)

Thats easy: "hmm, interesting" says Samoyedman, chewing on the ends of his glasses, feigning intensity but in reality can't see a damned thing without his specs. For the record I failed biology in my 1985 HSC. I consider that a valid copout, I mean reason, for my lack of interest in canine anatomy. ;) Edited December 18, 2006 by samoyedman

I'm afraid. Good training for the future - when that girlfriend you say you need wants human kids.

Jed
Samoydman I, ummm....don't like groping around down there...his gut is above his John Thomas. Call me old fashioned but it's a guy thing. so long as you don't kiss him, no one will think badly of you! How about a vet nurse for a g/friend? She could do some of that stuff you don't care for? I would have thought you would be laughing with great hilarity at SM's comment since you have been known to indulge in similar behaviour yourself, albeit more distastefully. cavNrott
Short memory? I do believe you suggested me as a girlfriend for Dougie on this forum because you disagreed with my post or my posting style or because you thought you were being funny Who knows what you thought? Has this little reminder jogged your memory? People in glass houses
MolassesLass
No memory problems I know of Anne, although, perhaps it's the new identity. A search has not revealed anything but I do vaguely recall making the point once that you and Dougie posted in a very similiar manner. If I used relationships to make that point and I made you feel uncomfortable Anne, I do apologise. I am sure had you asked me not to make those types of jokes/whatever at the time (as I have to SM), I not only would have removed it, I would have apologised and certainly not done it again. So let me clearly state, I'm very sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable by posting an insinuation about your private life at some time in the past. Staff'n'Toller
Back to the original question  I have found that my pups tend to show me when they only need 2 meals a day, and this is usually before 6mths. Cheers, Mel.

I didn't respond to your comment. Neither did anyone else. If I recall, that thread was deleted. Your comment didn't make me feel uncomfortable, I just thought it was out of order. Dougie and I don't post in a similar manner. I don't think anyone posts in a similar manner to Dougie. BTW the 'new identity' which is now rather old, is because someone new registered as Anne plus an initial so I thought it best to change my name to avoid confusion.
