To those who have loved

To those who have lost

You had a true friend

Who knew you were its boss

To come home every night

And see its smiling face

To love you unconditionally

And not care about your race

To follow you around

And play with you all day

To let you rub its belly

And teach it how to stay

Your friend was the greatest

It never cared…

What you were wearing

Or how you had your hair

Memories are now left

But the greatest ones at that

Your best friend is now watching

And probably giving you a clap

They are eating what they want

And chewing everything too

But they won’t get in trouble..oh no

Cause that’s what they can do

So that’s the best thing

About saying your goodbye

And knowing your best mate

Is somewhere in the sky

But remember they are happy

How could they not be

They got a life of happiness

With a person of true loyality

We all send our love

To those who have gone

But never forget

They will love you on and on
