Tonymc
Alex, the Pup is treating you as he would another Pup.Have a look at a litter of Pups playing together. One Pup will let another know its getting too rough by Yelping, moving away and so on.You could imitate that behaviour yourself, by making a Noise, turning away and ignoring the Pup for a while. You could also when the Pup is wanting to Bite, divert his attention onto a Toy that he can bite. samoyedman
Had the same problem the first few weeks. I just keep saying a firm "AH AH" (not too over the top) and he is much better now. He definitely knows what "AH AH" means.

saintlysusan
Im dealing with this now but my pup is only barely 10 weeks, I think you have to train him not to bite somehow. Time outs to calm down I was told or ignore this behaviour and make sure he knows hes not the boss, well these are the things we are working on but my pup knows I'm boss, its my kids he likes to nibble on hehe....dont let him get away with it or he will think its ok to keep doing. Good luck! Edited November 13, 2006 by saintlysusan

Whateverr
Abbey are you and Alex siblings? er... yes... so i would watch out for repeated posts... she's only 13 and she likes to post topics about things ive already asked about example... the "lump looking thing" was a grass seed which has/is being treated by antibiotics and is healing quite nicely... as for "my sisters puppy" that puppy she is refering to is spike and like i said, when he bites i tell him no and go away... unlike my brother and sister who like to stir up all three of the dogs.... *sigh*
