Working_Setters
I use garlic in the slop, ground LSA in every second or third batch of slop, What is LSA? Do you cook the "slop"? If so, could you give info on how please? Washed unpeeled fruit & veg into pot, some water and simmer? TIA Nope, slop is raw just like everything else. I pulverise it by juicing the fruit/veg pieces, and mix the pulp with about 1/2 the juice. LSA = linseed and almond meal or includes sunflower meal in some cases. HTH. many thanks
Kiwi1
Bones showing sounds like a good time to get onto Nutro Performance. Once you have him at the right weight look at a Maintenance or Lamb & Rice Food :D
bilby
This reminds me so much of going to a seminar on "Toddler Taming" by Christopher Green, where I just couldn't believe how many parents were fixated on how to get their toddlers to eat. .. how many different foods they'd offered .. etc etc. We were on the bones of our bum at the time .. on a student grant which back then was less than the dole .. no question of any alternative to the very basic food that was on the table .. & no nibbles or luxuries in between meals. Dr Green's answer (from memory) was - it takes a child 62 days to die of starvation. - offer the food, take it away if not wanted - Do not offer alternatives - Contact him if child still hadn't eaten by Day 61. I know it seems mean .. but it is the best long term
