Georgie-boy
How often is she worming? Puppies need to be wormed every 2 weeks until 14 weeks then monthly until 16 weeks and then 3 monthly for life. Drontal is a good all-wormer. Make sure that puppy is getting the correct dosage for its weight. Failing that - perhaps its time for a trip to the vet.
Missymoo
Yes, thats what I told her. pup came from a pet shop place so I suspect it wasnt wormed before she got it. She wormed it today with the drontal, just wanted to make sure I gave her the best info! She has a vet appointment tomorrow at the shops vet, but I told her to go to her own one that she trusted also. Thanks Georgie-boy!
Staff'n'Toller
I would probably worm again in a week, then fortnightly until she sees no worms. Mel.
Jed
ALL pups have worms. That's why they should be wormed every 2 weeks - that helps to break the tycle. Anything stressful - such as a change of home - new sights, smells, can cause them to either pass or vomit worms. I would worm the pup again in a week, and then commence fortnightly worming -- unless the pup looks wormy, which would be ribs showing, big tummy, maybe some diarrohea, gunk in the corners of the eyed. HOGWARTZBOXERS
I have spoken to a few people of late including vet, being getting some strange results from that wormer, try a different brand and see what happens, but get to the vet is my best advice, vomiting worm must be really infected. shayne
