kazzakanary
Piper seems to be sucking/chewing on her tongue while she is asleep - not every time - just in deep sleep I think! It sounds like a baby sucking on a dummy and her tongue is out of her mouth a couple of millimetres. Is this normal? Should I worry? Or is she just dreaming?? edited due to spelling! ?? duh! blacklabrador
I have a litter of 5 day old pups here doing exactly that in their sleep. Newborn babies do it to. It's very cute

he'smyhero
All my dogs have done this- it happens less frequently as they get older. I think it might be them dreaming about suckling from their mother- its very cute.
