caffiend42
At a junk yard Maybe a chemist? Jeez you'd think the plain ones would be with the flavoured. I always loved the plain stuff when I was sick and mummy made it for me
blacklabrador
I dunno what it tastes like.... had it been called something else I might be able to bring myself to eat it It just sounds so.... blearghhhh. It's for the Poptart to help her produce milk.
caffiend42
It's sort of like thin custard. The caramel one tastes best, followed by vanilla I haven't had it for years though. Really easy to digest. I think it's made from rennet? So maybe the next best thing is cheese? Or yoghurt? (Not that yoghurt has rennet...)
tramissa
Should be able to get them at coles or woolies BL - if they don't have any there it's coz they've sold out. Maybe try IGA or any food store like that.
blacklabrador
I've been to Woolies, Coles and Bi Lo and the best I can come up with is the flavoured stuff.

t-time
I would have suggested a supermarket BL Did you ask them if they actually keep plain junket in stock? Another "goodie" is evaporated milk (not the low fat stuff)
Georgie-boy
I've been to Woolies, Coles and Bi Lo and the best I can come up with is the flavoured stuff. Nadia
I thought they had plain tablets in the mixed flavour packs?? Not the most economical way of buying them though.
fido666
Hi BlackLabrador, Do you have a carsick dog? I made the mistake of using the Pineapple one with one of mine once AND I didn't give it early enough. Nothing like projectile Pineapple junket throwing to brighten up a trip to a show . Cheers, Corine

fido666
Can I ask a stupid question, well actually 2Is this good to give to dogs that get car sick does it settle their tummies? If so how along before you go do you give it to them? Hi Mal, Yes it works for car sickness by turning the stomach contents into a pudding like substance thereby settling the queasy feeling. I am told you need to give it at least 2 hours beforehand, my 1st try was only 30 mins beforehand with disasterous results. Some people use ginger tablets or ginger biscuits instead, haven't tried that yet myself. Regards, Corine Edited for spelling error. Mal
Thanks Corine for your reply. I had never heard of it for dogs, I guess I learn't something new , not that I have to worry about it at the moment anyway.
fido666
Thanks Corine for your reply.I had never heard of it for dogs, I guess I learn't something new :D , not that I have to worry about it at the moment anyway. I should clarify...... You don't make the junket pudding and then feed it, you actually give the dog the whole junket tablet. I guess for little dogs try a half tablet though. The pudding is then formed inside the dog's stomach. Easy no fuss way of dealing with the problem and there's no cooking utensils to wash .
