cavmad
We started out with Dentabones too but he had all this gluey mess all over his face and paws. Now he hasl amb shanks and puppy bones which we buy from out local pet supply store. The lamb shanks were messy in the begining so we spread a big sheet out on the carpet (folded in half) and trained him that this was his mat to eat bones on. We've now graduated to a towel on the floor. He gets so excited whenhe sees the towel coming out! He also gets a kong which he spends hours licking out. Don't forget the most important thing when giving bones........supervision! Good luck!
meganjane
Chuckie, don't feel bad, if that's what works for you and your dog, good on you both My girl would kill for dentastix yet doesn't like dentabones. My boy eats everything that stands still. Kel has no issues with dentastix and nor do I, tho I don't think they last long enough to do anything for her teeth
