LCB Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 (edited) Does anyone know if puppies can get the flu, i have a pup that has a snotty nose and a wheezy chest. itsapittybaby Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 Yes they definatley can get colds, take your baby to the Vet asap. He may become dehydrated and then require iv fluids. LCB Posted August 27, 2006 Author Share Posted August 27, 2006 I just spoke to a vet and he said that he may need antibiotics but give it a couple of days and if it gets worse bring him down, he said its very common as their immune system isnt very strong at this age even though he has had his vacc.
