poodlefan
Kymbo: Our Q/H did well in dressage, and the attitude change I saw when 'some' found out that he was a QH and not a anglo/tb ( he doesn't typically look too much like QH) was priceless. Yep, I had QH's. My taller one was 16.1 hh and came from running lines... confused a lot of people who seemed to think that all QH's looked like beef cattle. I also had a 17.1 hh Thoroughbred wiht bone at the time when Warmbloods were the rage - I used to have people rush up and gush 'oh what a lovely Warmblood, where'd you get him?" "Off the track" was the response. People just love to stereotype - that's what gave us BSL. Edited September 7, 2006 by poodlefan
kymbo
Yep...my boy is 15.3, and sprint lines as well...no jowls, and great extensions We used to love the days when there was tests in the morning, and open pony club stuff in the afternoon, and whack him around the barrels in the afternoon, and watch for the faces. He really could turn his hand to almost anything. And cause I couldn't resist..... Shiloh Spellbound

bilby
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww beautiful horse, kymbo! I don't want you to think that Bouf is really really dumb .. but this is a pic of him completing a "Send-Away" training exercise where he picks up the bowl with the treat & brings it back. .. but preferably without placing it over your own face & obscuring all vision. He is such a good boy .. he just blindly wobbled back towards my voice... probably thought it was a bit of a bizarre exercise, but trusts me so much, even though I was just cracking up laughing at him. Perhaps I should have thought a bit more about whether the type of container that worked for BC's & GSD's was the right size & shape for him.
