ShesaLikeableBiBear
We are currently doing Lureing and herding training with mine. I have used a clicker and reward with liver treats, but often find that they are too far away to hear the clicker so have trained them on to a shepherds whistle, works most times. Have done agility in the past and obedience, my old dog loved agility. My current dog has done Dancing with Dogs and he has been on 60 minutes in N.Z. With this you can use both the obedience training and agility but its set to music and he loved it. Trick is to find a piece of music to suit the size and conformation of your dog. e.g. he was trained to Hillbilly Rock Hilbilly Roll and A Walk in the Black Forest, too fast for a Rottie which is better off with something slow. bridgie_cat
I guess we like agility and the little bit of herding we tried was FANTASTIC... really whatever she has fun with... Favourite trick atm (the only cool one we know!) is jumping through my arms!... What is doggie freestyle? from what I am reading i am guessing it is tricks timed to music??... is that about right?
