Our Old Border Collie Lacy was given her wings today. She had battled the dreaded C for a while now. Today we had to say goodbye.

Dear friend this day has come all to soon

We have to say goodbye

We have to let you go for now

To give you some wings for to fly

Fly free from the suffering and pain

Your Daddy he really dose love you

For eighteen years you worked by his side.

Rest in Peace Lacy Angel. You will be sadly missed. So many years have gone since you first arrived as a bouncy bundle of black and white fluff. When we named you Lacy.Because you ate all the laces out of the shoes. So many stories to tell of how you climbed onto the roof of a neighbours new car Because it did not have a back on it like Dads ute. How you would round up the family cat and push him gently under the car. So many stories to tell. You will forever be in our hearts.
