Maxx
All the memories I’ve got with this wonderful angel ;) of mine can't be compared to anything in this world. Hero did everything I asked of him. He was smart, brave, strong and most of loyal. I nick named him my teddy bear because he grew into this huge dog and had a head like a bear. I loved to sit on our back step and cuddle him, he'd bring me his yellow ball and we'd play catch for a while and when he got tired he would put his foot on the ball and shake his head. Hero was my protector, my shadow, and my life security. ;) ;) I wrote this poem for my Hero You took my heart I died inside You are my Hero Till the day I die I watched you grow Big and strong Never did I need to scold you As you never did wrong. My life was safe When you were around My life falls apart As you lay in the ground You understood my fear, pain and tears Hero why did you leave me my dear I will always love you more than any You were one special angel sent from heaven You never made a sound Your brown eyes gentle and round Looked through me like no other You accepted my greatest faults like a mother You watched over me more than I did over you You lay by my window as if you just knew You were brave and strong But to me you were my big teddy bear Who could never do any wrong. Hero you gave me hope You showed me love That I never thought I could have You blessed me my love Sleep my King As I hope one day we’ll meet again And I can wrap my arms around you You can lick me face too. You are the wind beneath my wings Hero My heart will never forget the day you came into my life You always live inside me, my memories, my pain This hurt is so strong I just can’t explain. You come into my dreams and I know I can’t keep you long I awake in tears but feel strong For the one I Adored has gone I hope I did you no wrong You took my heart I died inside You will always be my Hero Even till the day I die. Bow Wow
I am soooooooooooo terribly sorry for your loss maxine. The reason we love our dogs sooooooooo much is they dont judge us, they dont expect any thing from us but love. food and shelter. But they give soo much in return. Unconditional love, reasurance when we feel low and sad, by giving us a big cuddle and kiss. How did hero die? if you dont mind me asking. Once again I feel for you and wish you peace. Maxx
Thank you Karen you're words ring right and true! Animals ask very little of us and yet they give so much in return! My Hero dies of old age.. i guess if you can call 8 & 1/2 years old. I actually went off meat for one month before he passed on and the vet saw how attached he was to me that he actually said he'll be right for a little longer... but he didn't he literally died in my fathers arms. every day i walk in the yard i still see him there even though i've got other babies now, Hero was something special! He took my heart and sould with him. PS I thought i'd add a pic of my love!
Bow Wow
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh he is so beautiful. No wonder you loved your cuddles from him. He looks truly magnificent, proud and honoured no doubt to be your best friend. You were both very lucky to have been chosen to have shared each others lives. My loving respects, Karen
