How Much Glucosamine To Give?

I too was wondering how much joint guard to give my dog i am going to purchase some on the weekend although she is only 1.8 kg and the lowest dose they have is for a 5kg dog?

I guess you would just give half of the recommended dose for a 5kg dog??? According to the label that would be 1/4 scoop initially then 1/8 scoop as maintenance! That would be just a pinch each day, and would mean one tub would last you nearly 2 years ;)

If only my dogs were that inexpensive!

I use a brand that has the glucosamine in a capsule with fish oil. the dogs like them and act as if they are getting a treat. Each capsule is 500mg. I think it is natures own. I'll check when I get home.

Clover has been playing Flyball for about 5 years now and competing pretty full on for the past 4.5 years and i am researching different products for her. She is going on 8 yrs and is still a nut at Flyball but sometimes takes a bit more effort to get going on colder mornings.
