Cheyenne_Fury
wombat are his pads split at all? My Dali Jake gets split and cracked pads in winter due to getting wet feet from the wet grass. I make sure I dry his feet really well but he still gets it. I find tea tree oil is really good and also a spray called pad paint aid. It's fantastic. Guest Wombat101
CF Im not sure if they are split, but they have big cracks in them. He has this all year round everytime he pees on something he does this "dance" where he scrapes his feet on the grass kind of kicks it up, he seriously does this about 50 times a day, maybe its from that? I have no idea. I do dry his feet after he has been outside if its wet too.

Cheyenne_Fury
Wombat try aloe vera too if some of the other stuff doesn't work. Is it a dominance kind of thing the kick back after he pees? If she Muzz does that too (my beagle). It could be irritating his feet a little bit. Bebanthen would probably work to heal his pads also maybe vitamin e cream and if all else fails good old aloe vera.
Guest Wombat101
I dont think its a dominance thing, he does it at home, on walks, at the park, at the beach, at my mums, just whenever he has a pee hes been doing it since he was quite young too. He's a special boy! I will give the paw paw and bepanthen a go If they dont work i will try the Aloe. I put nivea moisturiser (spelling?) on him once, but then thaught it may irriate his pads more. Lesley
Try Eulactyl Heel Balm, it is a product for humans but works great on dogs and you can buy it over the counter at the chemist! Cheers, Lesley
