Bitten Lip Hanging Off

Just don't do anything stupid to this idiot guy that lives behind you.

Oh it's been soooo hard not to march over there and give him a piece of my mind (and a kick in the nuts), I am FURIOUS that this has happened to one of my babies :hitself:

The antibiotics have worked really well and it's almost all cleared up, it still smells a little, but nothing like it was before...before it would smell the whole house out and I would be gagging being anywhere near him, I'm sure he knew, he looked so sad :worship:

The vet wants to see if it will heal on it's own first...not sure what "proud flesh" is sidoney? But if it hasn't started closing up on it's own within 2 weeks then he will need staples in to help it.

sorry to hear this shek, didnt realise.

Maybe if you can find some Rawleys products, this is great on horses and heals things quickly, and the skin has often joined back. Its expensive but worth it.

I've never heard of Rawleys products before...which one would I be looking for and where would I get it? If it's a gel/cream wouldn't Kovu just lick it off?

Depending on how much it is I wont be able to get it till next fortnight, but the vet wants to give it that long before anything else is done anyways, so that'd be good timing :hitself:

not sure up your way where to get it. Ask any horse breeder/trainer, like at the stables or racecourses. They would all have heard of Rawleys. Its actually like a liquid and he would like the taste too much. There are heaps of Rawley products, just ask for the healing agent if you find someone up there that knows where to get it. Cant tell you the price its been a while since Ive had horses but know the product is still around. Its too popular.

Rawleighs has been around a loooong time, my Grandma used to buy it from a travelling salesman, I have seen sellers with little market stalls selling it and I think I have seen it on ebay.

Rawleigh's Website Link

Perhaps if you contact someone at the website and ask what the ointment for that might be (bearing in mind these preparations are for humans, you may want to check that none of the ingredients are toxic specifically to dogs).

All their products are marvellous!

:hitself:

NOTE, if you click on the "product descriptions" it will take you to another page and there is a Vetinary list there.
