Glycerine and cement powder? I mite give it a try > but she is still VERY cute with her pokey up ears  so i wont care if they stay ...

By massaging the ear > is this like folding it and rolling it between your fingers?...

Thanks for the help!

Glycerine is normally used with talcum powder, some people use sump oil and cement powder. They are 2 different mixtures for the same job, you use one or the other.

Massaging the ear is done exactly as you say, roll the ear over where the crease should be and just gently rub it between your fingers, a littl glycerine rubbed into the crease line on the inside of the ear will keep the ear leather soft.

Cheers,

Corine

Hi Bridgie cat

I'm the one who first posted ;) this thread and I found using glycerine with talcom powder the best...Kasper is 7 months now and and I haven't used it for about 5 weeks...one ear is tipped well but the other is almost straight again so I intend to keep using it on a regular basis.

Yes it will dry...it took me a few goes to get the right consistancy...I first tried to make it quite a dry paste like blue tack but that didn't stick, kept falling off, so now I make it a little sloppier..you also need to put enough on so that they droop a little more than you want as they tend to spring up more when the paste is removed.
