pampa
Thank you all ! She's totally off the cortisone/prednisone now and she's only had one single tiny bruise in the last two days, probably due to her "still too low" platelet count, but things are looking good Can you all please keep an eye out for a good pet friendly rental in Melb

Muttaburra
:p Oh no! that doesn't sound too good. Is it likely to be a flare up of the condition she had antibiotics for or something still not diagnosed? So sorry to hear this.

pampa
Hi all and thanks for your concern. She has been put back on high doses of Prednisone AND Doxycyline just to get the Thrombocytopenia (bruising) under control. We'll try to find out what is wrong after her bleeding is under control. Since starting treatment on Saturday, she is much better. I will let you know where we are going from here on in, once I myself know a little more. Thanks again for your support...
