Purple Julie Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 My aunt's tricolour Rough Collie, Conner passed away this week. I posted about how underweight he was a while ago. I noticed that he was very skinny about a year before his owners did I think. Anyway, I think before he was PTS the other day, he was weighing about 15kg and his waist would have been about only 10cm wide or less. You could cup your hand in a 'C' shape over his back above his waist. After having tests, etc, they found the other day that he had advanced cancer all through his body, even to his lungs and the vet recommended that he be put down. Conner had not been eating much and vomiting up most of what he ate. The vet said that he would have been in a lot of pain, but not showing it because of his placid nature. Jyra met Conner a couple of times and they played together, but she hadn't seen him for probably about two years. I don't have a picture of him, but he looked a bit like Tess32's Ebony. Sheena8860 Posted February 3, 2006 Share Posted February 3, 2006 Yesteday we lost our beautiful Frenchie Boris he was only 18 months old and he died from a seizure very unexpected and very hard to come to terms with.
