Mel 45
I had a wonderful vet. He was Scottish.. I think, or Irish or something. Broad thick accent at any rate. They were renovating their surgery, his daughter worked there too as another vet. Unfortunately he died about a month before the surgery was opened - it's a gorgeous animal hospital and a big improvement on their old residence. He had the best bedside manner and was a little fuddery but very good with patients (both human/animal!) and the animals liked him. Unfortunately the vets they have there now have a completely different manner.
White Shepherd mom
Could someone with a wonderful vet please ship them down to me? Soon after I arrived in Perth, I took Casper to the vet nearby for the first time to get a renewal of his epilepsy meds and discuss some things (diet, allergies, runny tummy)...throughout this whole discussion, she didn't so much as look in his direction. Brand new patient and she didn't bother checking him out. Her only advice about his tummy was to feed him rice and chicken. I can see I'm going to have to do a little more hunting!
