There's no doubt that there are weird ass people in the world promoting cocktails of natural remedies to do amazing and unbelievable things, general rule of thumb, if it's too good to be true, it is.

Not so! AIDS has been totally cured to the stage of patient being HIV negative, but you won't see it in the media cos drug companies can't make money out of it. As is the case with cancer. Many people have been sent home to die with terminal cancer and have been saved thru alternative therapies over the last century, but as this is routine, I guess it doesn't qualify as amazing or unbelievable!

Beg to differ here - have had cases where standard vet treatment has almost caused the death of an animal, which has then been saved and healed thru immediately stopping ALL vet treatment and substituting alternative treatment.

Have also undergone standard medical treatment myself, both in and out of hospital, which has totally failed to help, and only been cured thru alternative treatment.

NB - I still use a qualified practitioner for advice, not into prescribing for myself in life and death situations!

As I said before the drug companies await your phone call, maybe try the one developing the vaccine. I will be interested to hear what they have to say.

BTW all drug patents expire it is the law.

I also feel that if you get your medical degree... 6 years... then do your house jobs...1 to 2 years... then work in natural medicine and join a research programme to develop your aids cure I will seriously be the one shouting from the rooftops at your achievements.

Sorry Rusky - I had not understood your post! I am old and need punctuation to make sense of some sentences.

I tried to answer your queries with sense and reason, but have been vilified in return. The AIDS cure is nothing to do with me - it is being achieved by homoeopaths on several continents.

I pride myself on having an open mind, and have spent many years researching and studying these topics, as well as using this information myself. Some people who have taken my advice have actually been cancer-free for many years, after refusing orthodox medicine.

I had thought I might actually be able to help some people here explore the possibilities of exploring alternatives and opening their minds to information not given by the media. I understand that this is not possible for everyone, as you have demonstrated.

I do not ask for you to agree with me, but I do ask for respect, just as I respect your right to your opinions. I do not appreciated being vilified by someone who has absolutely no understanding of what I was trying to say.

BTW - at no stage have I said I was studying for any sort of degree. My university degrees were achieved in non-medical fields.

Just would like to say - This is getting off topic.

This is a topic about Flower Essences NOT Alternative Medicine.

However I believe I must point out - Having just done a semester on research and clinical trials - Just because they do it and say it - doesn't prove a thing. So many research papers out their have holes the size of Australia in them. I know that if you knew the true clinical proof behind the medicines that you were taking, most of them you would not take and would be absolutly horrified. I know that I was.

As for the natural remedies - grow up - These have been around for over a thousand years - much longer than Modern medicine. Today the natural medicine "industry" is growing more than ever. There must be a reason. We are all human beings that question everything - so it's no surprise when we see the natural therapies working with friends and family we recognise the usefulness and the necessity of it and considering the suspicious nature that we have...??. Both sides of medicine are needed- they COMPLIMENT each other.

I have a personal friend that was CURED of MS.

I have another cured of Cancer. - He was told he had 6 months.

If you want to do some research - you will find MANY of these cases. This is not rare nor is it uncommon. I am not a practitioner - so I couln't give you my own client based proof.

We are not as advanced with natural medicine as scientist would like. This is ultimatly in my opinion because natural medicine is too taylored to the individual.

Classic Eg.

10 ppl have a stomach ache.

Natural medicine - They don't all have the stomach ache for the same reason. So we take a case study and each person is treated as a individual with a problem that is as individual as themselves.

Modern Medicine - Everyone gets the same treatment. When this doesn't work then they might try something else. If no "Physical" proof can be found then the problem doesn't exist. You still have a tummy ache?? Take some panadol - it doesnt really exist.
