newfie lover
I vacumed my newf yesterday for the first time and she LOVED it. She is blowing her coat so as I was brushing her my fiance was vacuming it all up, it was so much easier One thing I did learn yesterday was that if your going to vacume your newfoundland use a bloody bagless vecume cleaner, the bag was full of hair
dogcop
Whilst looking on some american sites a while ago I see you can purchase clippers with an attachment that has a vaccum. So when you clip no mess which is good but looked very cumbersome. I prefer to have vaccum near whilst clipping so hair can be picked up regularly. some dogs actually like being vaccumed and providing you aren't silly with it, it shouldn't be a problem. love the Idea of using dust buster to desensatise nervous dogs. will be trying that one thankyou. becks
You can actually buy an attachment for the vacuum to assist in grooming/vacuuming the dog, they are available in the bigger pet stores.
rachiie
I certainly have. As a kid, our red cattle dog used to come over and beg for it. I grew up thinking it was standard practice. When I was little I was surprised that some dogs were scared!!
