Vacuum The Dog?

I used to run the vacuum over my Spinone when I was vacuuming the floors. It sucked up some hair, but not much and I doubt it would do anything for fleas. Maybe my vacuum cleaner wasn't powerful enough! She certainly still shed everywhere.

no, but I have sure as hell been tempted!! :hitself:

Loki is a real pain in the ass to brush, be keeps wanting to squirm away and run around. Taya is of no help either, she stirs him up, cause she has finished shedding.

I have clumps of husky hair everywhere.

It would be much neater just to vacuum it straight off the dog, than of the carpet, car and furniture!

One of my dogs absolutely loves to be vacuumed, she comes running up as soon as I get it out and practically begs for it. I don't know that it does much, maybe takes out the dust and a bit of loose hair, but obviously she loves the feel of it. My other dogs disappear as soon as I open the cupboard where 'it' lives

Yep, sure have vaccumed my dog

I used one of those little 'dustbuster' types that I brought as socialisation equipment. He used to be scared of the vaccum cleaner, but thanks to a desensitisation program he will happily be vaccumed, although it really doesn't get much hair out.

Can't imagine it getting fleas out as it doesn't have the suction and I don't think that is the way to deal with a dog that has fleas....

It had given me a few ideas...not sure if my dogs will appreciate it tho

However...once while i was doing work experiance at a vet practice we used a dustbuster/minivac to suck up the loose fur after clipping/shaving (to prepare fur desexing). I got the mini vac job which was amusing and i was running it from the belly down towards his bottom...and what do you know? i saved the vet from some work...one teste was still in hiding...but working the mini vac in the right direction popped it back into place...i think the vetnurse and myself were giggling for the rest of the day :hitself:

Kim hates the vacumn cleaner and tries to kill it, Elka thinks its out to get her,

Now Oliver is a pain in the ass because he loves nothing more than to get vacumned. He whine at me until I take the head of it and groom him with the sucking pipe maybe he is a weirdo
