Anna H
Ok, Perthies... thought I better start a new topic in case you didn't see my message in the other thread. Anyone tentatively interested in attending a one/two day workshop with K9 Force her in Perth? Venue, dates, subject, costs are still to be decided, this post is purely to guage the level of interest. PM me to advise... and also if you know of a potential venue. Edited November 28, 2005 by ChelseasMum

Purple Julie
Chicko, you'll find that out when you go!! I think it may depend on what people are interested in. Maybe I'm not qualified to reply. I have been to two workshops in Melbourne. We have talked about drives, dog behaviour and the underlying causes, dog training. I would recommend anyone go. Anna H
As yet we haven't decided on a topic... just doing very basic testing the water stuff and gauging interest at this stage. If you have a peek at some of the other workshop threads running, it would give you an idea of what topics etc could be covered.
Steve K9Pro
K9: dogs are welcome, the topic can be open, any dog problem, anything to do with training, behaviour, over coming problems, socialisation, you name it we can cover it. There are a few threads on here from previous workshops, take a look, I cant remember anyone not satisfied with them.
sandyl
Is it just for adults? Wouldn't mind going.
boxagirl
I would be interested depending on the costs etc. Would be bringing Barkly for help with his aggression (its not really THAT bad.. not too sure if I should call it aggression.. not too sure what to call it! lol) Bondi has overcome most of her problems so I don't think I'll bring her
Gone Grey
Oh dear Boxagirl, I'd like to take Sooty for his problems with fear aggression towards other dogs too! Could be interesting... Do they need basic obedience? I hate to admit he's not trained, but it's been difficult, I'd like to learn how to get him to listen to me.
gemibabe
I would be there with bells on, for sure. shelby is hypo and needs to learn some manners when around children.

sandyl
Ooh, boxagirl- If you go I'll probably go. Depends where, when and costs ect.
phatdex
Well the one day VIC workshop with around 20 ppl was $75 each. So that can give you a simple idea on prices BUT steve also did another 2 day course while he was down so might have to factor that in as well. Anna H
Also bear in mind that Steve has to fly over to Perth as I can't convince him to walk over. Hoping to get enough people for a 2 day workshop to make it worth his while and keep the costs down, whether it be the same people coming twice or different. Crysti_Lei
I'd love to come, and bring my dog. Would she be too much of a problem because she's a saint with big dog aggression issues? I NEED to learn how to control it with out making it worse. I'm feeling very bad about a bad trip to the dog beach. Would it be a weekend? -Christie
Steve K9Pro
K9: people can bring their dogs, we can & will demo what to do with aggression, & explain why it happens, evaluate your dogs etc. It would most likely be on a weekend.
