shekhina
I'm so very sorry to read this, how incredibly sad The warmer months are such a worry with outdoor animals, even in the suburbs you can get snakes living in the backyard. What a horrible thing to have happen to your baby. How terrible too that the vet on call did not answer the phone, that would make me very angry. Hugs to you and your family
InspectorRex
it is so sad to lose one so young.( we know we lost one last year at 9mths) let your Council know about this as there may have been other cases in the area so even if a snake they can put out alert to residents In our thoughts
gusmum
I'm so sorry to hear of Kuda. Poor thing. My heart goes out to you & your loss. I've heard that snakes are out because of the freakish weather & we live right near a huge reserve where we like to walk to I'm a little wary - plus the council tends to put out fox baits which makes me even more paranoid. I'd hate to think he was deliberately poisoned. If so - then that's the pits - people can be cruel and worse than animals. We all have to be careful. lots of love to you. White Shepherd mom
Oh Cass, that is dreadful news. So suddenly and so young. I am shocked at how easily and quickly you can lose a pup and will now panic everytime I put my two out for the night. My thoughts are with you. cass
Thank you for the photos silverblue. He was such a clown that day!! We really do miss him running around being silly. Thank you all for your kind thoughts, and to the people who have talked to me privately, we all really appreciate your thoughts. You are a very special group of people.
