InspectorRex
is there an ADT club anywhere near Morwell, Victoria? sick of mainstream obedience clubs
Erny
Welcome aboard, Kittyhawklee .... will look forward to meeting you and your dawgies !!! Errrrrrmmm, sorry InspectorRex .... not out at Morwell .... YET! ADT is fast growing, but I'm afraid it might be a little ways into the future before it's out there. Closest to Morwell would be Berwick, at the moment, I suspect.

Erny
Bugger! Berwick is an hour's drive each way and with the high cost of petrol ..... Yeah ... I figured that when I wrote my post. Even on a full wage, it's expensive. S'pose cycling down ain't an option? Seriously, Inspector .... I'm truely sorry ADT can't oblige in this case. Long shot .. maybe call them to see if they know of any classes conducted by people they might know of and can recommend? 9761 2772. As I said, a looooong shot, but you never know ??????? haven
That's great Kitty, that means that if I don't see you at Berwick this weekend i should definately see you at Chesterfield Farm as that is where I usually train on Sundays I'm not on this Sat, but i am taking my girl to her swimming session in Doveton and was thinking of dropping by to see a work friend who is starting this weekend with his pup. I have a veeerrrrry rare day off this Saturday, and generally train at Springvale and Boronia Centres on Sundays. But I look forward to hearing here how you are going and progressing! Eldoop
Ok thought I would give you all an update on how our first novice class went :D we really enjoy our selves ;) my niece Tegan and her new puppy Dakoda (black labrador) had a great day aswell, her pup is only 10 weeks old, Minx is now 14 weeks old, we did sit, social walking, stand and recalls, and Minx was very good, and Dakoda just wanted to sleep so we passed and are in the puppies class next week... Eldoop
Sorry I didn't get there thismorning, I had to go to a stupid open for inspection Are you training at Scoresby tommorrow, or will it be next week? haven we were going to CF next week but we are not sure now whether to go to Berwick or CF next week as we want to go to the 'Pets Day Out' next sunday and if we go to CF then onto the pets day out it might be to much for the babies so might be at Berwick again, but after that, I will most likely be training at CF

goldielover
We went along to ADT Berwick on Saturday and i thought it was a really good set-up. I'll be signing up for the socialisation and control level. I'll probably have to train at different places as well, as i work both Sundays and every 2nd Saturday, but i hope to ditch one of the Sundays. Lisa, i couldn't believe how well behaved Minx was!! (must have been cos we weren't there distracting her :D ). I'll be going on Saturday as well, so might see ya there!
Erny
Oh, Hey! Goldielover. Good for you! Will see you down there (although due to commitments, my attendance at Berwick will be a bit irratic!). Have fun in your classes. :D ETA: Oh .... and make sure to take along your dog's favourite motivator to each class (eg. fav toy, food ... whatever). Erny
lol yeah, that'd be FOOD! Get out'a here! No way .... with your breed of dog! Who'da guessed! Seriously, though, bring the food AND, if your dog's into toys at all, it's most fav. Your dog's fav motivator can change from time to time. And sometimes you might want to reward with the secondary motivator rather than the primary. So take both and keep them as your training reward only. But more than anything .... have fun!
