2tollers
Come on Stffordsrule. What would you rather do, have afternoon tea with a bunch of girls or spend the afternoon with a bunch of screaming dogs? I want to meet Geordie.
whatevah
I think I can hear some chickens. ) LOL With lure coursing it is just a bit of fun, who cares whether the dog can do it or not. Josh just stood there on his first go and did nothing, now look at him. It does not prove anything whether you dog can chase a plastic bag or not. You are not competing, it is just fun. Every dog has a different style. Last time there were two kelpies similar in age and same colouring. One kelpie was really great, and the other kelpie ran around the perimeter keeping the plastic bag contained!! Some dogs like to point at the bag. Some dogs like mine try and uproot the tunnels and one of my dogs actually got inside the tunnel. One of my dogs caught the lure and ripped it off the cable. Some rhodesian ridgebacks cannot even do it and it is there sport. So come on and give it a go!!! There are no prizes. I think it is a great opportunity to put faces to names. My name is Jules, so don't need to call me toilet duck. LOL!!! I will be bring my video camera so if anybody wants me to video for them, bring a blank VHS tape and money for postage, and I can arrange to send it out to you. Purple Julie
OH, I AM SO PROUD OF MY GIRL!! HOW GOOD WAS SHE?? She behaved very well and got along with most other dogs!!! She didn't even react when the basenji growled at her one time! That is pretty amazing. It was good to meet you guys and socialise Jyra with some of you. Jyra got a bit confused on her first run, but on her three other runs, she did very well and followed the lure the whole way. Here are my two best photos of her. Not really that great, so if anyone happened to take photos of Jyra that are better than mine, please post them or send them to me.
Guest Tess32
Jyra was great - I was very impressed I have some pics of Jyra, I'll post some in a minute or so in the photo forum. If anyone has pics of Reilly I'd really appreciate seeing them too, as I was too excited to take proper pics..hehe. Nat
