Winterpaws
Can you run it yourself or do you have to use a bike? I am thinking it might be a good way to get fit!! Oh and then there is the small issue of getting Charlie to behave on a flat collar... we use a martingale at the moment

plum
I did the ET with Matt 6 - 7 years ago we both enjoyed it and Matt found it to be a doddle, in fact I was told to stop Matt pulling a couple of times or we would be disqualified If I remember correctly there is a vet in attendance who checks the dogs temp & heart rate before they start and at the beginning and end of each rest break. Matt's HR at start of ET was 90 bpm and at end of ET 88 bpm ;)
PAX
I did the ET in July and the judge was saying that maybe they might change it in future and let people use a springer, fingers crossed. If you decide to run it it is a lot faster than a brisk walk, it a good steady jog. When i did mine the judge had no problem with the dogs pulling but said if they lagged more than once he would eliminate them. I have heard other people say they are not allowed to pull, my two dogs pulled all the way and passed no problems. Ruben wasn't even panting at the finish.
