Teebs Posted August 12, 2005 Share Posted August 12, 2005 (edited) 14 years ago my brother came home with this tiny tiny Saffy puppy, Zeus. He was about 5 weeks old and cost him $15 He became my dog, the biggest sook you could find! He hated water, he would rather be in your lap getting a pat then running for a ball (and when he did get the ball he would NEVER return it to us!) When he was ten years old his brother, Major, died. They had been together since the day we got Zeus. We didnt think Zeus would make it, he went downhill so fast, a few weeks later he was attacked by a dog, we were thinking of getting him put to sleep, he was just so depressed. We got another dog, Duke, a Bulldog, Zeus started playing like a puppy again. The last few months he has been getting sicker.... We made the choice to let him run free.... An hour ago i held him in my arms while the vet injected him. It was quick, he relaxed in my arms and it was over.... My heart is broken once again He was my baby, the best dog anyone could ever want... I love you Zeus...
