Guest cloverfdch
We got some sad news today. About 5 years ago my Mum and i fostered a little old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/ Red Heeler x, Sheila was about 13 years old at the time and was heavily pregnant when she came into our care. She ended up having 2 pups, who we helped raise and then rehomed. And then her special family was found and she went off to spend her remaining years surrounded by a loving family . Last year she was diagnosed with mamery tumors and was given about 3 or so months to live, surgery was going to be too risky so it was just a matter of keeping her warm, loved and free of pain. At 3am on Australia day this year Sheila lost her fight, and went quietly in her Mums arms ;). Run free baby girl we will never forget you, til we meet again . mita
What a beautiful girl....one of those dogs you automatically want to hug. So lovely that the last thing she knew was being hugged in her Mum's arms. She'll rest well over the Rainbow Bridge, dreaming of all those cuddles & the folks who loved her so much.
