sas
I'm in Sydney and would be kean to give it a go, the only thing is that it is 23% fat, do you guys see that as being a good thing or a bad thing? *little confused*
MolassesLass
not all of the mixes are so high in fat. Remember this food was designed for racing greyhounds, so the Weaner mix is probably only suitable for your high energy breeds that do a lot of exercise (like my BCs ). Koza
So... for a medium-energy dog, can I give half of it, and half of kibble?
KitKat
If i was you i'd perhaps go with either the Breeders Choice or The Edge types as from memory they have a lower fat content...i could be wrong tho :D :p (But those are the types that i feed my dogs)
Koza
Sure I wouldn't give the fatty one to Solly.. he is approaching a small bear size already.. I was planning to get those first on the list. As soon as I get ANY space in the freezer :p
MolassesLass
From the website: The Edge - "The "fat" percentage of this diet is currently at 12% this will increase in winter to 15%." Weaner - ""Weaner" is a high-energy racing diet (27% fat), therefore it is advised that you monitor your dogs weight regularly, and especially when this diet is initially introduced. You feed approximately 20gms of Weaner for every 1kg of dog." Breeder's Choice - Wasn't listed. Beef and Roo mix - "You can advise us of whatever "fat" content you would like. as we currently make mixes at 10%, 15% and 20%."
