Connecting With Your Pet

I wrote this to help me cope with the loss of Patchie, now gone 18 long months.

I hope you will find it as helpful as I did...

You may wish to sit in your pet's favourite place for this meditation. Choose a place in the sun or your pet's favourite seat.

Hold a rose quartz crystal or place it beside you. As you close your eyes, hold the intention of connecting with your pet. Animal souls are like human souls- they never die and they visit us regularly. Take a deep breath. As you do, mentally call upon Archangel Raphael to bring forth your pet. Release your breath. Visualise pale emerald-green light surrounding you. Take another deep breath. Standing before you, you see Raphael appear. In his arms, or beside him, is your beloved pet. Notice how happy they look- how healthy they are. This is their true form, they no longer feel pain. As Raphael comes closer, your pet runs over to you and jumps in your arms. In their eyes, you sense their forgiveness. If guilt is playing on your mind, now is the time to say "sorry". Know they love and forgive you. They understand why you did it- and they say, "Thankyou for taking away our pain." As Raphael stands by, you and your pet play, just like you did in life. In spirit, they have bright new toys, and they happily share them with you. You continue to play happily, knowing you can play for as long as you like.

...When you feel its time to leave, give your pet a big hug. Raphael comes over and picks them up. They are as reluctant to leave as you are! Before Raphael turns away, he says to you, "Your beloved pets are still with you, as they were in life. They are by your side wherever you go, there are no limits." Archangel Raphael and your pet return to the light, and you are comforted. You are still enveloped in pale green light, breathe it in until it is part of you. Know that whwnever you tune into this light within you, you and your pet are together again, playing happily.

Thats got to be worth a try & Im going to give it a whirl.

I believe you are right.they are always around us.

I saw a medium not long after my 2 left this earth. I mentioned nothing of my dogs or their passing. She said Im deeply hurting & went on to describe both my dogs to a T. Height, colours, personality.

She said I am tripping over them. How true that is. There is nothing physically I could trip over, its just where they used to laze around.

The gates swing open & shut although they have been latched.

Im always thinking/dreaming of them but I guess thats natural after them being such a big part of my life for so long.

aww that's lovely. I often feel the presence of my cats who have passed on. Our family has only ever had one dog and he stays with my Dad and stepmum I think. I was a bit dissapointed that he didn't come to visit me like the cats do. I was very close to one in particular, who always comes to cuddle when I'm down. If I'm really upset, I often feel prodding on my legs in bed... like a cat does when they are getting a spot comfortable! I have also smelt the faint smell of cat fur when we didn't have a cat and felt brushes against my ankles.

Mel774, dont worry, sometimes different animals are around us at the time we 'need' them.

I have just become aware of a dog in spirit around me lately (who I owned when I was 4 years old). I am learning animal communication and believe he has come to help me at this time. So you still may feel your dog around you at another time yet!
