Rozzie
I've just buried Jimmy... poor little bugger. Jimmy came home on Xmas Eve last year, his little body covered in scars. He was used as a bait dog and his previous terrors were evident all the time in the early days here. He was suspicious of everyone, would have a go at any dog who went near him... He is the only dog I have ever been bitten by. As the time went on he learnt the world was not such a bad place. He became friends with several of the smaller dogs and was totally devoted to Mr R. He followed him everywhere and waited each evening by the top gate for his ride up the driveway with his 'dad'. He loved going out in the car and loved 'driving'. He had begun to play. He learnt to sit. He would wait patiently in his crate for his dinner. He was a funny little bloke. He's buried where he can watch over the drive and keep us company when we enjoy a late afternoon drink in our little garden. I just hope the last five months of his short life were happy for him.... RIP Jimmy James...

Muttly
Poor baby, life was very cruel for him until he met you. He left being loved, so sorry for your loss, it is unfair.

Atinagold
Pardon my ignorance, but what is meant by a "bait dog"?

Paula-
Rozzie, I'm so sorry ;) He was surely happy at your place, and knew what love and good life could be. Not fair that he's gone so soon. RIP Jimmy :pant:
