I had no idea there were so few Great little dogs!

I believe I might have met one back in the 70's. A stray that we found on the corner while we were walking our dog. I was only around 10 at the time, & despite my pleading my parents said we couldn't keep another dog. After a 5 hr grooming session,(my mum was a retired hair dresser & said she wanted to at least make sure she had a chance of being adopted), we unfortunately gave her into the rspca. RSPCA claimed she was a Dandie.She had had a couple of litters so I like to think her progeny is out there somewhere. Whether they got her breed right is a mystery but she looked identical to those in the footage above and those I have seen at dog shows since. Temperament wise she was 2nd to none, put up with a whole lot of grooming from us strangers and was very solid sound & wagged her tail the whole time.
