What to do about dags?

Hi my shih tzu jack Russell Ruby has dags. I can't get her groomed as I just moved to a small town that doesn't even have a hairdresser so I had to buy clippers. if I give her a bath should that loosen up the poo and it can be washed off. normally when she starts to get dags I book to get her groomed. I would buy a grooming kit of Amazon but I feel anxious clipping her. thanks for any advice.

@reece86 this video below may help, also I use Wahl KM2 clippers on my Westies so have a search on-line for a good 2nd hand set (if they are 2nd hand you may need to get the blades sharpened)

and if you type 'how to get poo dags off dog's bum' into your search engine you'll get some helpful results

Thanks. I will give the video a watch.. actually tried that before making this post. searched on google and Bing and could find nothing
