AngelicEwe
I have recently gotten my first purebred/show quality puppy. I joined my states peak body, got my membership card and the papers transferred into my name. But now what? Do I join local kennel clubs? If so, how do I do that? I was hoping that I would get more information when I joined the peak body but got my membership card and that was it haha. Any guidance would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Good morning AE you do not say what dog activities you are interested in perusing, but if you look on the DogsVic web site (or in the magazine - usually towards the last page) you will find a list of Affiliated Clubs - everything from breed specific groups to specific activity groups like Obedience Clubs, Tracking Clubs, Agility Groups,: Dances with Dogs etc. there are contact details for each group so you can find out things like where and when they meet, what activities they have planned etc directs from the group and choose according to what suits you best. You could of course also ask the breeder of your puppy for recommendations. Or PM me if you need more help.
Dogsfevr
Your Sate bodies website is full of information . You will get your journal & you start entering shows . Highly recommend doing some handling classes & going to watch shows & your breeder should have informed all about this
