igbox
Hello! I'm new here, and I just wanted to ask some tips in case I run out of goat's milk in the middle of the night for my rescued pups. What could be an alternative solution?
_PL_
I keep an emergency tin of Di-Vetelact in the cupboard for the rare occasion when people find a kitten that needs temp care (while things are organised with vet, pound and rescue safety-net). But if they're on goat milk already, to avoid a potential tummy upset I'd keep some in the freezer just in case. Shouldn't affect the quality of the milk.
Deeds
You can get long life goats milk from Woollies or Coles. It's called Living Planet UHT Goats Milk and costs $4.70.

Dogsfevr
We use Healthier brand its tinned powder so you just make it up as needed when we bottle feed babies . Fab product .Most health food shops sell it or buy online . Goats milk can be seasonal & at times hard to source even long life & more so when covid hit . Chemist warehouse do a powder goats milk but it didnt agree with our pups .

Note that it needs really well mixing up before you feed- it seems to sepAte out while in the cupboard and becomes rather thick at the bottom of the packet.
