Good morning all!  Snickers here barking that the hot humid weather FINALLY got to us in Maine. Yikes! I had to beg mommy to turn on the air ‘aditioner thingy (she’s cheap!). Well, I found out yesterday that Grammy is coming over to doggysit me next week while mommy is away. AND Grammy said if I was good all week, she might bring her delicious new Reeboks that have been hiding in her closet!  YUuuMMmmYYYY!!!!  So now I’m counting down the days. AND am on my best behavior!

 

 

Nothing to see here!  Just me chewing my toy like a good boy!….(Mmmmm can’t WAIT to eat those yummy chewy new Reeboks all up for dessert!)

(Sigh) morning all. Snickers here with an update:  Sooooo I think I may have totally blown it for next week. Yesterday I was playing out in the yard and coincidentally while I was out there, some of mommy’s flowers got dug up. She was not to pleased   She said I should spend some time reflecting on what I did and try to make better decisions:

 

 

AND to add insult to injury, Grammy sent this photo a little while ago:

 

 

She said it would be a shame if she had to put her new Reeboks back in the closet and not bring them over for my favorite yummy dessert.  Ok, so I gotta REALLY try to keep my nose clean for the next few days!

Good afternoon all!  Update:  GRAMMY IS COMING!!! GRAMMY IS COMING!!!!  She is on her way!  She sure surprised me by coming early!  I’m literally on the edge of my seat waiting!

 

 

Ooooohhh I can just taste all that new white Reebok sneaker leather already!!!  My mouth is watering!!!!

Good evening all!  Well I had quite an A-MAZING day today!  I actually fell asleep upstairs waiting for Grammy to arrive earlier. I was fast asleep when I was awoken by a commotion downstairs and a heavenly smell.
 

GRAMMY!  I dashed downstairs and almost knocked Grammy right over when I saw what she brought me:

 

 

Mmmmmm SLURP!!!!! Oh boy oh boy I have been craving these all week and they are finally MINE ALL MINE!!!!  Grammy fussed over me as I sniffed and licked them hungrily. Talk about being in doggy heaven!  Listen, there is nothing like the taste of a pair of new white leather Reebok sneakers!

 

I chased Grammy around the house all afternoon until I FINALLY wrestled those juicy Reeboks right off her feet!

 

After I claimed them all to myself, I ran off to hide and enjoy them. Grammy went looking for me a while ago and found me hiding in the guest room under the blankets. She asked if there was a big hungry sneaker monster hiding under there. My only response was lots of growling and snorting as I chewed away.  

 

I already had a nap earlier so my plan is to stay up all night eating these delicious new Reeboks. I can only hope she brought another new pair for tomorrow. Well goodnight all!

I'm so confused. This is a forum for talking to people about dogs.. not for people pretending to be a dog. 

 

Are you expecting us to talk back to your dog? To you?

Oh geezum. I have upset the apple cart! Sorry all!  Was just trying to create a crazy nutty intro for a crazy nutty dog! I’m so tired of every forum being blah and cookie cutter. I’m (me Natalie) a person who lives life by the minute and is not afraid to be different and sometimes (pretty much most of the time!) gets me in deep water! Yikes!

Hi Natalie, your posts are the same as multiple other dog blogs I've seen over the many years since I've been interacting online. I guess you just need to pick your audience and this audience probably isn't a good fit for that style of post. I'm definitely not the right audience either and I confess to scrolling straight past your posts when I realised you were writing in the voice of a dog.

 

I'd say DOL (as many of us call it), is a discussion forum largely dedicated to purebred dogs, for Australians and our Kiwi mates, and of course for anyone who chooses to participate from around the world. In its peak, it was a massive resource for breeders, pet owners, and rescues to learn, chat, toss around problems and get advice. It is a little quieter these days (Facebook killed the forum star...) but its still a fabulous little resource. 

 

Anyway, no harm done. I'm sure you'll have lots of fans for your style of posts in the right forum. Feel free to hang around here and get the feel of our forum and to participate too.
