Janiine
My Maltese Shih Tzu is 12. For the last 2 years she has had about 5 infections and vet gives her full courses of anti biotics and inflammation meds. Just wondering what l can give her myself to prevent this from reoccurring all the time. She is on the vets Hills low fat id dry and wet food diet. Any help l would appreciate it so much. Any natural products etc out there.
_PL_
It's no replacement for vet care, but supportive therapies can assist. I recommend McDowell's Herbal. Send them a message here https://shop.mcdowellsherbal.com/forms/consultation you don't want to have two conflicting treatments working against each other. I also recommend you seek out a specialist. She may have an antibiotic resistant bug. Have they ever done testing or an ultrasound?

Papillon Kisses
I’m a fan of referral to specialists when you have a tricky recurring problem. Sometimes it can be just vet-vet consult over the phone for suggestions as to where to go next.
