Lab Love
We all know dogs love to bury prized possessions like bones and food. My dog loves hiding his toys. So much so that i cannot find his toys to play fetch with him with these toys. Is there any way to have my dog stop hiding his outdoor toys? Papillon Kisses
I would do two things 1) create a specific area outdoors for digging and burying his prized possessions 2) teach trade/swap. Then when you’ve finished playing together, you can trade the toy for a treat or perhaps a toy he can bury and put the playing together toys away. This way he still has his toys to play with and bury since he seems to enjoy that, they’ll be in a set area if you need to find them for some reason, and there’s an assortment of special ones for playing with together. You might find that he’s already selected a spot or spots for toy burial. Edited April 17, 2021 by Papillon Kisses
Boronia
buy one of those clam shell pools from K mart and fill it with dirt or sand. Drill some holes in the bottom for drainage. they make good hidey-hole places to bury stuff https://www.kmart.com.au/product/water-n-sand-pool-set/2688313
sandgrubber
Tie long, dayglow cords on them. They're still going to be buried, but resurrection will be easy
